In the fast-paced world of ours, it is becoming ever more difficult to improve your health. A lot of people make new year's resolutions, but by the end of the year, they're going back on their resolutions. Health apps are becoming the ever more convenient solution of the 21st century. If you're wondering, “how many health apps are there?”, the answer is probably “too many”. Here we look at ten of the best health apps for men and women to use. Moreover, a lot of them are also health apps for kids! Let us find out more.

It is an interesting game-based application, putting the user in a position whereby they have to improve themselves to progress. As one completes various real-world fitness tasks and gains experience, they can level up in both the game and real life. There are all sorts of workout routines along with expert advice to keep one motivated. Moreover, it is free!

Couch to 5K

It is a topic pick of ours of apps for mental health because not only is running is a great way of staying in shape, but it also has positive benefits for one's long-term mental health. This app can get one from the couch to mastering 5k runs in only nine weeks. You do not even need to have any prior fitness or running experience. The functionality also allows for an easy and user-friendly way of tracking your progress.

Fooducate

It is a cool and free program that helps one understand how many calories are in your food. Simply scan a barcode to see all the nutrition in the food you have bought. Pretty soon, you can tailor diet plans and keep track of progress pretty easily.

Nudge

This app allows one to get healthy through competing with others. There's no such thing as unhealthy competition with this app. Nudge connects with a variety of health programs to create overall health scores based on the user. One can compare and contrast with scores of their friends to try and compete and raise their own.

Fit Bit Coach

This free app is a lot like owning a personal trainer who lives in your phone. Fit Bit Coach will offer custom programs, workout schedules, and other content, driven by health data and your body. It's a free application, but a subscription is $8 a month. A small price to pay for one of the best health apps out there.

It's often difficult to stay healthy when eating out. This app will allow one to spot the healthier options on a menu. It will also help you find restaurants that serve healthy options that cater to different requirements, e.g., a paleo diet.

My Fitness Pal

Another free app that is worth a download! It's a great application for calorie and intake management. It will help one manage their diet to stay on track with the intake needed during training.
