I know I know this is late. I wasn’t able to make it to my HMR Diet meeting Thursday due to my doctor giving me new meds. making me feel sick. It said to take it before breakfast, but knowing that I usually feel sick on meds. I ate a banana before and then took it. Well needless to say I didn’t feel so well. So then the next I didn’t take anything before and felt so much better.
I’ve been sticking to my 2 bottles of water a day, but this week I am going to increase it to 3.
I have been getting out and walking. Friday we went and walked the boardwalk for about an hour. Then today I gathered my boys up and we mowed the yard.
This week I was supposed to increase my fruits and vegetables to 3 servings. I have been eating a lot of salad, which I didn’t realize how much I missed it until I could have it again. Friday was our 5th year Anniversary so Saturday I wanted to take the hubby out and celebrate. So I thought of where would be a good place for me. So then I thought of how Ruby Tuesdays has a salad bar, so that’s what we did!
So since it was 3 servings this week, I ate two small plates of salad and then I got some steamed broccoli. Then to drink I got diet soda. The waiter said they had diet lemonade, but I couldn’t believe that. Isn’t lemonade mostly lemon and sugar with a little bit of water? Yeah so I didn’t get that. I was actually surprised that I didn’t go wild. Before when we used to go, I would get the steak and baked potato. Don’t get me wrong I do miss that stuff, but I’m trying to get healthy, so I know my limits.
