Weight Loss? No Sweat!

Just imagine being able to lose weight. Seriously, lots of people try their hardest yet can’t seem to shed the pounds. So, the fat stays where it is, and no one feels any better about life. If you’re one of these people, losing weight will seem more like a chore. But, there is good news. It doesn’t have to be this way because offloading the timber is easier than you might imagine. Honestly, there is no reason to break a sweat. For the non-believers, below are the tips that help lose weight without getting hot and sweaty.

Drink Water

In fact, you need to drink ice-cold water for the best results. The coldness of the water has an interesting effect on the body. The water, because it is below normal temperature, forces the body to warm up so as not to feel any adverse effects. As this happens, there is an increase in activity that burns calories. Yep, it can burn up to 70 calories at a time. Plus, drinking water makes the stomach feel as though it is full. The fuller you feel the less food you will consume.

Eat More Fiber

Talking of feeling fuller, there is another tactic that is just as effective. The technique is eating more fiber because it’s the nutrient that satiate hunger. The only problem is that the average person doesn’t know this to be the case. And, if they do, they don’t know what foods contain more fiber. Now that you know, always look for vegetables like lentils and Brussels sprouts. Also, breakfast cereals that promote all bran are another excellent source of fiber.

Try Surgery

Okay, so you don’t like the idea of getting a gastric band. This isn’t uncommon because surgery gets a bad wrap. In all honesty, there are benefits of gastric bypass surgery like rapid weight loss that makes it worth considering. Then, there is the fact that it is safe and the recovery time is quick. Plus, the cost isn’t overly expensive either. The key is to understand the pros and cons before going under the knife. There are bad stories which can happen to you, but the odds are low. A great tip is never to do it unless you’re one hundred percent confident. Still, that doesn’t mean that you can’t look into the dynamics a little more.

Fidget Often

Kids are often told to stop fidgeting, but they might be onto something. Studies show that some people have brains which are wired to do less. In layman’s terms, they are innately lazy. However, it is possible to change the way the brain works by fidgeting. A tiny change like shaking your foot can make a big difference in the grand scheme of things. Before you know it, you might transform into one of the most active people on the planet! Tapping your fingers can annoy people, but just tell them it’s for the greater good.

Conventional wisdom says you have to sweat buckets to lose weight. Well, that isn’t true any longer.
